Government agencies go through lean times, cut backs and political upheaval
from time to time. In those uncertain times, budget cuts and organizational
changes come quickly. Often one of the first positions to be cut is the
volunteer manager's. Learn the methods used by four volunteer managers
to create sustainability during financial and political downturns. Presenters:

programs that have worked well in governmental departments you may not

Community (and Why you Want To)
The new buzz word in business is employee engagement. Human resource departments
are reaching for a new level of satisfaction to retain employees. Creating
valid volunteer experiences is one of the best ways to give companies
this edge. Find out how to tap into this new arena of corporate interest

Managing Multiples - Lots of Locations and Programs
One of the challenges of managing government volunteers programs is that
so often we must oversee a variety of programs offered at a variety of
locations. Examine best practices on how to handle the difficult issues
posed by having a multiple sites and programs. Facilitator: Jan Koske
