Looking for an example of how to recruit volunteers online. Visit the US Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District office volunteer clearinghouse page at http://www.lrn.usace.army.mil/volunteer/.
This
site is a nationwide, toll free hotline number for individuals who are
interested in volunteering their time with the Corps. By calling the hotline
a potential volunteer can express interest in any Corps project nationwide.
The Clearinghouse in turn, gives the individual a point of contact for
the area they have requested, as well as written information about volunteer
opportunities there. Nashville has capitalized on this location and provides
a straightforward access to the positions available in the District. It
is a clear and easy to maneuver site.

online. It might be a web site, or one of the "matching" services.
Your program can attract more volunteers by listing available positions
with one of the three services.
Volunteer Match is an online network of participating nonprofits, VolunteerMatch attracts thousands of volunteers every day. They help organizations find volunteers. (http://www.volunteermatch.org/)
