The Free Management Library (http://managementhelp.org/)
is a useful site for those working with volunteers and in nonprofit
organizations. Put this site at the top of your bookmark
list. The Library is a free community resource to be shared and
contributed to by users and authors across the world.
Links and other resources contributed to the Library remain the
property of the authors of that information. It is similar
to Wikipedia, but with one topic---management.
One of the student’s in my online course on recruiting volunteers
(Portland State University) had an assignment to find online sites
with good information on advertising and promotion methods applicable
in recruiting volunteers. In the Free Library she found a
page with many sub-pages related to just this topic.
