Cloud is a colloquial expression used to describe a variety of different computing concepts that involve a large number of computers that are connected through a real-time communication network (typically the Internet). Cloud computing is a jargon term without a commonly accepted non-ambiguous scientific or technical definition. Cloud computing is a synonym for distributed computing over a network and means the ability to run a program on many connected computers at the same time.

Information can be shared, updated, created, and approved by a group of people in different locations, with everyone on the same page at the same time. It saves time, money, and storage space, as well as saving on apps for individuals since they are stored in the cloud for all to use. Security and encryption are kept up to date.

A cloud program is DropBox.  I use this with my husband.  It gives us access to work being done together or individually.  Our writing class assignments are in DropBox, along with photos, and a summer household “to do” list.  A practical program when a team is working on the same document or project.  Allows everyone to see progress and do revisions on writing or photos. What are you waiting for?

Here are some other programs like DropBox.
