This group has a set of professional ethics to guide an administrator of volunteers, a certification process for experienced managers of volunteers, and core competencies (articulated in a book) for the professional of volunteer administration.
CCVA has opened enrollment in the certification program. Enrollment for 2012 began in October and goes through March 1. For more information go to the CCVA Web site. The fee is less if you sign up by December 31, 2011.
