WHO CAN SUE A BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Did you know that one board member can sue another and the organization bears some liability?  UGH!  Not the pretty side of nonprofit boards, but a fact.  A good reason to carry Directors and Officers insurance.

Boards can be sued by any number of groups or individuals.  Do you know who or what they are?  A board must know its liabilities in order to engage in effective risk planning.law scale
