Friday, March 14, 2008

9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Evertt, WA
Sponsored by United Way of Snohomish County Volunteer Center

Trainer:  Nancy Macduff

Fast paced, discussions, experiential, practice exercises—those are terms that describe what adults want from training experiences.  This workshop presents information on the principles guiding the most effective training for adult volunteers.  Learn about training objectives, selecting the best training activities—it is not always the small groups--, and much more.  You will have the opportunity to plan a workshop and get feedback on how to enhance them for better communication with volunteers.  There will also be an opportunity to determine how best to train people for episodic assignments.
