And Nancy
Macduff begins publishing "Volunteer Today." She enlisted
the assistance of professionals to assist in writing articles
for this new publication. She is doing so again for these 21st
anniversary issues. For example,
Nan
Hawthorne is currently working on a story about the internet
and has asked for assistance from other professionals in the
field.
An
early contributor to the paper Volunteer Today was Randall
Son, the recently retired Executive Director of the Walla
Walla Humane Society. He has agreed to write an article for
the August issue.
Other
early contributors and notables in the field of volunteer
administation will share their thoughts on a variety of topics
in future issues, including Sue Vineyard, George Johnson-Coffey,
and Mary Merrill to just mention a few.
If
you were part of this early group of writers for "Volunteer Today"
and would like to be involved, send me an e-mail at fwb@bmi.net.
We
would love to include as many of our early contributors as possible.
